Asteroid Please!Asteroid Please!Asteroid Please!

Asteroid Please! is an irreverent Colorado indie band, driving a fresh acoustic jam sound with alt and funk undertones. Individually and collectively, AP! has played with nationally recognized artists like Gavin DeGraw, Nickelback, Jessica Simpson, Vertical Horizon, and Buckethead, at venues like Shoreline Amphitheater (CA), The Woodlands (TX), Sweetwater (CA), and Boulder Theater (CO). Their music has been featured on hit shows like One Tree Hill and Summerland, and they've written custom tracks for everyone from Warner Brothers to USA Fencing. If you like their studio tracks, you will love their live energy, so come hang with them at an upcoming show. If not, that's great too!

AP! dropped its new EP, The Age of Big Stupid last month and will be playing release shows across Colorado in support. The EP is called The Age of Big Stupid, because...well...everyone seems to have lost their f'ing minds these days. Don't know why, but here we are. The EP was mixed by Grammy Award-winning Colorado producer and engineer, Steve Vidaic and features the musical powerhouses, Brian McRae (drums), Tim Kingsbury (bass), Jordan Feinstein (keys/organ), Nathaniel Carroll (lead guitar), Eliot Bishop (lead guitar), Blake Schaefer (lead guitar), and Matthew Burks (vocals, backing Vox, rhythm guitar, keys, and other "stuff").

What's New:

- Roots Music Festival 2025 Live Video - AP! just released video from their recent Roots Music Festival 2025 show on YouTube. Video was filmed and edited by the multi-talented Colorado artist and musician Blessing Chimanaga, and features Matthew Burks (vocals & rhythm guitar), Caton Sollenberger (lead guitar), Brian McRae (drums), Brian Whitten (keys & backing vocals), and Tim Kingsbury (bass). The AP! community filled the room and drank a few too many with the band after the show.

What's Next:

- Upcoming Colorado Compilation Album - Asteroid Please! was selected for an exciting Colorado compilation album slated for release in December! We're honored to be included with such an amazing roster of CO artists. More to come on that.

- All Ages EP Release Show - Given our Roots Fest 2025 show turned out to be 21+, Asteroid Please is going to host a soon-to-be-announced, all-ages EP Release Party, so keep an eye out for that show announcement. The show will build real, live community, raise some money for an important state non-profit (to be announced), and showcase a bunch of Colorado talent.
